All organisations are legally required to ensure any waste they produce is disposed of properly so that it does not cause harm to the environment and that there is a cost attached to disposing of waste. Therefore, there is a charge to businesses or other commercial activities to deposit waste at our sites to cover the costs of correct treatment and disposal as these costs should not be subsidised by the public. However, for charities and not-for-profit organisations, WLWA will consider waiving the charge if:

You are a not-for-profit organisation or charity and can provide proof of this
Your organisation is based within the geographical area of the WLWA
WLWA are satisfied that the waste does not arise in the course of a business activity

Both sites have containers for a wide range of recyclable materials. Please sort your waste and recycle as much as possible. Using this permit you will not be able to dispose of hardcore, soil or asbestos.
